Over 40 years ago in Turkey, H. Tosyali's passion for precious metals and gems inspired him to start a company to design and create fine wedding bands. In 1972 he and his wife Mrs. T moved to the United States and built the company now known as Benchmark. With him he brought the concept of the Comfort Fit band and successfully introduced it to the US marketplace. In their factory in Tuscaloosa, Alabama Benchmark manufactures some of the finest wedding bands in the world using the purest gold, the finest platinum, the most talented designers and the most skilled craftsmen. They utilize the latest technologies to insure a quality product each and every time.

All Benchmark wedding bands are die struck. The die struck method provides for a more consistent product, one with less porosity and more gold - a solid band throughout.
